Just spent a few days in the hospital and was treated exceptionally well the entire staff was great ,very attentive and caring .I am very pleased and grateful to everyone who was involved who helped me back to good health Thank You.
I give the hospital 5 stars but not why you think. I went to the emergency room at 6am because I thought I had problems with my pancreas again. I sat in the gown with no sheet and open curtain for a few hours dry heaving into a small bag. I was told there was an emergency so it would be a few minutes before I would see anyone. I sat and watched and listened to the nurses talk about gift cards, prom, and making cookies while I was in extreme pain. Then an angel appears in the form of a housekeeper with an awesome purple streak in her hair. She brought me a warm blanket and helped cover me up. I didn't get her name but she was awesome and I say thank you and if you see her tell her she was my angel. I was finally told I had acid reflux. Was given what they said would help the pain but didn't and went home with the same pain that took me there..... 4 days later was seen, tested, and diagnosed with gallstones at another ER. IMAGINE THAT

The staff is extremely caring and willing to go out of their way to get you something. Someone is always checking up on you to make sure things are going smoothly for whatever your recovery is. Also, the food is the best hospital food you can find around. And anyone can eat there. Friday's fish frys are amazing, definitely worth a try.
Had a wonderful experience with the registration and lab staff! So friendly and the hospital was so clean!
Honestly, nobody goes to the hospital because it's a fun thing to do. Nobody's happy about it. Going to the hospital will require a lot of waiting around, and it is what it is. They're trying to take care of everyone who walks through the door. I had an outpatient operation and everyone from the nurses to the anesthesiologists to the the surgeon to the admins to the phlebotomists were perfectly pleasant and made my hospital experience a decent one, given the circumstances that got me there. They were compassionate and helpful. They did everything they could to ensure that my stay was as comfortable as possible, and from what I noticed, they extended that same courtesy and respect to the other patients who were there. The nurses Darcy and Cassandra are awesome! I was also there several months ago for some routine imaging, and the X-ray technicians are very nice as well. I was in and out.
All I was in for was a mental evaluation. First of all: the room in the ER was freaking cold, and it was just before thanksgiving. Other than that, it was okay.
The nurses & other staff of the ICU took excellent care of our family member & I can't say enough good things about them. They were exceptionally generous with us concerning visiting times & always answered our questions & addressed our concerns. We are very grateful for the care he received.
Exelent awesome hospital and staff food is awesome also Great people and great service .
Great Doctors...Staff...Service...Food..and THANK U FOR MY CARD IT WAS APPRECIATED
I was here for about a week right before Halloween, I don't remember much about the ER but I do remember the ICU and everyone there were wonderful. The care I received was amazing. The nurses were very caring and sweet. When I went into a regular room the quality of care never changed. They made me feel like I was very important. The Dr came in every day and explained things to me and answered all my questions. I was very pleased with this hospital.
Thank you to all the kind and compassionate caregivers during my overnight admission. The quality of care was top notch, and the food was excellent as well. On June 2 I had a surgery which required a 23.5 hr admit, being that I live 2 hrs away I wasn't able to ride that far the same day as my surgery. The Nurses on the second floor were amazing, as well as the assistants. The only trouble I had was with the woman who I had to check in with in the basement before surgery. She was a bit rude, but that is not going to ruin my review. Just keeping it real. Once again thank you to everyone for taking such good care of me during my stay. The Eastern Niagara Hospital is by far the best not for profit organization I have experienced. Keep up the good work.
